village post 11.10.21
Can’t wait to see you at the Unity Gathering, this Sunday at 10:30! Our friends at House of Judah are excited to meet together again and it will be another great time. Masks are required inside during the gathering.
Kids will be dismissed during the teaching for children’s ministry. For more information contact clemsondcf@gmail.com.
For our dcf gathering on Nov 21, we will gather at the Abernathy Waterfront Pavilion in downtown Clemson. This park is connected to Jaycee Park by a boardwalk trail and there is parking near the Pavilion as well. Our gathering will begin at the regular 10:30 time and after a few rhythms we will eat a thanksgiving lunch together.
We have access to bathrooms and electricity as well as a sweet fireplace to keep toasty warm. If you would like to bring something, fill out this google doc here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bqeIbWGQ32FmSTAbTt7OJ9lJgYyUZo3qO_ozUEkKrtY/edit?usp=sharing
See image below for parking options.
Parking
Please park along Keowee Trail or at Jaycee Park, indicated by yellow lines on map. Pavilion is located at red drop point.
Shoebox due Nov 21
Make a child smile by packing an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. Contact clemsondcf@gmail.com for details.
For the next few cold and wintery months, our dcf gatherings will move fireside! The Abernathy Pavilion has tables, bathrooms, electricity and a giant fire place to keep us warm. It is located right next to parking and the waterfront boardwalk. It is going to be a great place to have small group discussion and intentional time together as the dcf family. The dcf leadership is looking forward to seeing everyone there!
For more information contact anyone in dcf leadership or email clemsondcf@gmail.com.
The ongoing support of everyone connected to dcf, near and far, is making it possible for us to lean into discerning dcf’s future. Thank you!
