THIS SUNDAY! Let’s celebrate some people getting baptized! And it will be a great time to hang out at the park, eat and swim together!

We have reserved the round pavilion near the parking lot and playground. We will engage in a few familiar dcf rhythms and enjoy a potluck lunch. There is a sign up sheet to let everyone know what you’ll be bringing. Let’s prioritize the hot dogs and burgers, in order to make sure we have enough for everyone. We are expecting some extra friends who are joining in for the baptism celebration. Please plan on staying after lunch to swim and play at the beach!

The elders and deacons of dcf will be having a leadership retreat Aug 13 & 14 at the Potter’s Place. We are excited to welcome new leaders, pray together and plan for the year ahead. Please be in prayer for this retreat, for the unity of the leadership team and for clear direction from the Holy Spirit.

If you’d like to help with childcare for the Spoelstra girls, or if you’d like to help provide a lunch or dinner, let Julie know at 864.280.4763.

NOTE THE TIME CHANGE!

Beginning Aug 15, most of our gatherings will be held at Jaycee Park for the Fall semester. These gatherings will begin at 6p. It is the hope and prayer of dcf leadership that this time and place will be beneficial to college students who may want to join our church family.

(About once a month throughout the semester we will be joining with House of Judah on Sunday mornings at 10:30a. More info on that to follow.)

If you have any questions about dcf gatherings and our fall schedule, feel free to email clemsondcf@gmail.com.

dcf will be hosting a table at the Welcome Back Festival in downtown Clemson on Monday, Aug 16 from 6p-8p. We get to meet tons of people and get hyped for this next season! In order to meet the expectations of the Clemson Alumni event coordinators we will be giving away water in exchange for tokens. This means we need many cases of water donated for this event. And some ICE!!!! Josh and I have a very large cooler we will use but extra coolers are welcome as well. If you’d like to bring your case of water to the gathering on Sunday, Aug 15 we will take care of it for you! If you’d like to help host the table with the Spoelstra family let us know. The more the merrier!

This is a new experience for us and it is exciting to do a Clemson event! For more information contact Julie at 864.280.4763.
