We embrace Paul’s teaching that each person in God’s community has been equipped to minister, to serve, and to give their life away for the cause of the Kingdom of God. Our church is blessed to have a high percentage of people giving themselves away and leading lives of ministry.

We also believe God calls out particular people to serve the community as a whole, to lead and teach and pastor in ways that keep the broader community connected to God’s purposes.

Our leadership comprises of elders, who authoritatively lead and provide vision for our church; and deacons, who serve our church’s needs in a variety of capacities.  The dcf elders have composed an essay entitled “On Serving and Leading” which has some more detailed information on these roles if you would like to learn more.  If you are interested in serving at dcf in any way, please visit our Plug In page.
