Well, I’m a little late getting this out, so I apologize to all who were anxiously waiting by their inboxes all afternoon. I toyed with the idea of just waiting til tomorrow to send this, but I thought that would simply be too cruel. So here it is now!! Ta da!!
In case you haven’t heard, a team is going down to Water Missions International in Charleston from Friday, February 17 to Sunday, February 19 to spend some time putting together water systems. If you’re interested, email me and let me know because we still have 2 spots open!! If you’re already signed up, just remember that we’re having a short meeting after the Gathering on Sunday to discuss a few details.
If you’re interested in getting more plugged in at dcf, check out a family group, or consider finding a place to serve, such as making coffee, cleaning, tech crew, greeting/set-up team, etc.
New Orleans Spring Break trip sign-up is still going on!! Email me back or find me on Sunday morning if you’d like to be a part or need more information.
Now that you’ve had your village post fix for the week, have a delightfully restful weekend!
Grace and peace to you…

Here are some things you may be interested in knowing (a.k.a. announcements)…
Don’t forget to find a family group to get involved with if you’re not already plugged into one. Family group leaders will be sharing on Sunday morning about the heart of their groups along with logistical details about when each one meets. Stay tuned…
Ready or not – sign-up for the Spring Break trip to New Orleans begins on Sunday! We don’t have a lot of concrete details for you, but we’ll be going Saturday, March 17 through Friday, March 23. The cost will be somewhere around $200 or less. We’ll have more details and a firmer cost as we get closer to leaving, but we want to go ahead and assemble the team so that we can start covering this trip in prayer! So pray about it, and ask how the Lord wants you to partner with us in this adventure.
Water Sunday is happening this Sunday (1.22)! Get excited as we hear from one of our own – Tyler Phillips – about what Water Missions International is doing to provide safe water for those who are going without it. We’ll be discussing some different ways we can partner with WMI this semester.
Family Groups. New Orleans. Water Sunday. I think that’s it for this edition. Hope your weekend is restful!
