Some things to add to your calendar AND your to-do list!

Maundy Thursday Gathering.  The evening April 1st.  We’ve been doing this awhile so if you’ve been before then I probably don’t have to try to convince you it is well worth your time.  If you’ve never joined us for this – plan to be there, you’ll be glad you did!  More information to come…

Baptisms. On Easter Sunday, April 4th we will be having baptisms as part of our celebration!  So exciting to be able to celebrate our family in this way!  If you are interested in being baptized please contact an elder, deacon, or your family group leader.

ONE Art and DCF Art Gallery.  ONE Art will take place at the building Friday, April 16th and DCF’s Art Gallery will be on Sunday, April 18thduring the normal Gathering time.  You may submit art to either event or both – all proceeds from the ONE Art sale will be donated to Haiti.  Your submissions – painting, poetry, photography, musical performance, pottery, etc. – are needed by Sunday, April 11th.  To submit or for questions contact sarahmudder@gmail.com.  If you would like to contribute through your gifts of baking something yummy for Sunday’s Art Gallery, please contact melissa@dcfclemson.org.

Speaking of Art… in response to the Acts series, the Art Team is putting on a “Fan Into Flame” interactive display.  Each Sunday we would like to add new artistic expressions to the display of how the Holy Spirit is working in the lives of those within our family.  So create your piece of poetry, painting, photography, whatever else artistic you do! that expresses what the Holy Spirit is doing in your life, THEN contact Kelly Russell at kmrusse@clemson.edu.  We’re excited to see what is going on in our family!

10th Annual DCF Film Fest.  Sunday, April 18th at 6:00 PM.  It’s time to get all dressed up and ready for a night on the red carpet.  No really, there will be a red carpet.  Come out and enjoy some fancy picture takin and movie snackin while we enjoy watching films made by those within our Family.  Yes, that’s right YOU MAKE THE FILMS.  Sounds difficult, totally not and it will be TOTALLY awesome.  AND there will be awards given at the end of the night from the Academy itself and others that YOU vote on, just like the real thing – who doesn’t want that?  Special this year, is a best film by a family group award.  So get your cameras crankin people!  Contact Reid Geyer for more information – reidgeyer1@gmail.com

That’s all… for now!
